Play Your Part in Best Practice Fertiliser Management

Funding is available to support farmers through implementing best practise fertiliser management programs with soil testing, agronomic advice and the production of whole farm nutrient maps across the Geographe Catchment on at least 80 farms during 2016, 2017 and 2018. Grazing enterprises with >40ha of cleared arable land are encouraged to apply.

The Fertiliser Best Practice Project forms part of the Royalties for Regions funded Revitalising Geographe Waterways Program which fund key projects to improve water quality and waterways management in the Geographe Catchment.

Play your part – make evidence based decisions about fertiliser requirements to benefit your farm business and to reduce nutrients entering our waterways and Geographe Bay.

This project is being delivered by GeoCatch in partnership with the Department of Agriculture and Food WA. To receive an Expression of Interest Form, please contact DAFWA at nutrientmapping@agric.wa.gov.au or by phoning Peta Richards on 97770144.

EOIs have closed for the 2016/17 sampling season however this is a three year project, so please register your interest for the 2017/18 sampling period.
