Are you keen to improve your gardening prowess? Want to create an amazing native garden that you can be proud of, that is also ‘Bay Ok’?
Western Australian wildflower specialist George Lullfitz is visiting Busselton in April to talk about the secrets of selecting and growing native plants for successful and sustainable gardening. It’s all about selecting plants that love our sandy soils and that are good for our local waterways by not relying on too much fertilising and watering.
George has been actively involved in the Australian nursery and floriculture industry for 40 years. Gardeners will remember George’s regular appearances on ABC TV’s Green Fingers program. Lullfitz Nursery is renowned for its work in selecting and introducing superior native varieties for cultivation and George is dedicated to inspiring and helping people to grow wildflowers in their own gardens.
GeoCatch is partnering with Uscape Garden Centre to present this workshop, the first of a series of Bay OK gardening workshops planned for 2017, as part of the Royalty for Regions funded program Revitalising Geographe Waterways.
If you would like to come to the workshop on Saturday 1st April 11.00am—2.00pm, please register your interest with GeoCatch on 9781 0111 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
