Cultural Burning on Farms Workshop

Fire has shaped our landscape for thousands of years. Join GeoCatch and Zac Webb from the Undalup Association as he shares how traditional burning practices can restore balance to the landscape, support biodiversity, and strengthen land management.

This workshop will explore:

  • The cultural foundations of Noongar fire practice
  • How cultural burning supports healthy bush and native regeneration
  • Using fire as a tool for weed management and fuel reduction
  • What landholders need to know before planning a burn

Registrations are essential – limited places available.

This event is supported by the Australian Government through funding from the Climate-Smart Agriculture Program under the Natural Heritage Trust.
