Geographe Soil Testing Program – Results Workshop (Day 2)

Join our experts from Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development (DPIRD) and local agronomists to receive your soil test results and learn more about managing nutrients on your farm.

Now more than ever, it is important to be efficient with fertiliser use. These soil test results will help you make an evidence-based fertiliser purchase and potentially save you money on nutrients that aren’t required, as well as save excess nutrients from entering our waterways.

At this workshop you will:

  • Receive your whole-farm nutrient maps and results from your soil testing
  • Learn how to interpret soil test results and whole-farm nutrient maps
  • Receive advice regarding soil and plant nutrition, soil acidity and liming
  • Learn how to use the DPIRD Nutrient Calculator
  • Nominate a Fertcare agronomist to develop your 2026 fertiliser plan
  • Network with other Geographe farmers

Workshop commencing at 9.30am. Lunch provided.

*NOTE This workshop is REPEATED on Wednesday 18 February 2026.

This activity is a part of Healthy Estuaries WA and Revitalising Geographe Waterways, State Government programs; and Soils – New Horizons, a bilateral partnership agreement between the Australian Government and the State Government of WA (DPIRD).
