Landscape Hydrology – Boots on Ground Field Day

Join GeoCatch and Mulloon Institute for a hands-on day putting landscape hydrology principles into practice.

Over the past year, landholders have explored how to harness the water cycle to improve landscape function through a field day, a practical two-day bootcamp, and tailored mentoring with Mulloon Institute experts, Lance Mudgeway and Brooke Cunningham. Now, we’ll come together on a mentoring program host property to implement real on-ground restoration works.

On the day, you’ll see landscape restoration strategies in action, hear firsthand from participating landholders on how they designed their projects to be achievable economical and effective, and get involved in practical activities designed to slow, spread and soak water across the landscape.

Whether you’ve been involved from the beginning or are interested in learning more about landscape rehydration, this is a unique opportunity to see the impact of the program on the ground, connect with fellow farmers, and contribute to healthier, more resilient farming landscapes.

Morning tea and lunch provided. Address provided upon confirmation.

Spaces are limited – register today.
