Our work is made possible through collaboration

Community, Industry and Agency Partnerships

GeoCatch thrives on a network of collaborations and partnerships that are crucial to achieving its environmental goals. We work closely with local farmers, government agencies, schools, local businesses and community organisations, fostering a cooperative approach to managing the Geographe Catchment.

These partnerships enable us to leverage diverse expertise and resources, ensuring the effectiveness of projects.

Geographe Catchment Council, along with other key agencies, forms part of the Vasse Taskforce, providing a link between the community and water asset managers to improve waterway health.

Our collaboration with regional and state government agencies, including academic institutions and research organisations, integrates science and best practices into our programs.

This collaborative approach expands our impact, driving positive environmental change and building a resilient, sustainable future for the Catchment.

Project Sponsorship

We work with a range of partners to deliver innovative and engaging community projects.

We have a proven track record in delivering positive, scientifically robust and community-endorsed environmental projects, that we have built over the past 25 years. We have an extensive and diverse community network that we engage with regularly.

Some of the benefits of sponsoring a GeoCatch project include:

  • Working with a trusted, ethical and community-minded organisation that has been around for over 25 years
  • Highest standards of project and financial management
  • Access to an existing network of engaged community members
  • Positive profile in local media and GeoCatch networks
  • Opportunity to give back to the local community

We are always looking to bring partners on board for new and existing projects. To find out what projects align with your organisation’s goals, please get in touch.

We have a reputation for exceptional events

Event Sponsorship

We run a full calendar of events every year covering a range of topics. All of our events are delivered to the highest standard. We implement a thorough event planning, management and evaluation process, in addition to extensive pre and post-event marketing and promotion. We even work with celebrities and influencers to maximise message cut through.

Community engagement is a strong focus of all of our projects because we believe in bringing the community along on the journey with us. It is also our responsibility to keep the local community informed and engaged in looking after our Catchment.

We run over 30 events each year, including:

  • Bay OK garden workshops
  • Possum night walks
  • Community planting days
  • School visits
  • Education workshops
  • Science seminars
  • Citizen science events

Our event sponsors are acknowledged for their level of contribution in local media, social media, print materials, event programs (including the opportunity to speak at the event), signage etc. These opportunities can be negotiated depending on the level of contribution from event sponsors.

We are always looking to bring partners on board for new and existing events that align with your organisation’s goals.

Show your commitment to the local environment

Corporate Volunteering

We can support your organisation to give back to the environment and the local community. Whether you want to plant trees to create a legacy of future habitat, clean up a local beach or reserve, engage in citizen science or commit to long-term catchment management efforts, we have something for you.

Your team can contribute to conservation and have fun by joining one of our projects. Your organisation will demonstrate its commitment to corporate social responsibility and will be part of a good news story.

We are always looking for corporate volunteers to get involved in our efforts to protect the Geographe Catchment. Let us help you to achieve your community mission and provide a memorable, learning experience for your staff.
