Equipment For Loan

GeoCatch have a range of resources that can be borrowed through our Busselton office. 

To arrange a loan, contact us on 0491 069 078 or email info@geocatch.asn.au.

All equipment loans will require a $50 deposit, which will be reimbursed upon return of the equipment. 

Soil Health Kit

Each kit includes all the necessary equipment to assess your soil HASH (or Holistic Assessment of Soil Health). 

The kit includes a Soil HASH 1 Manual helping users to monitor, assess and manage soil health on their property. 

Soil Testing Kit

A soil testing kit includes a stainless steel auger and bucket for collecting soil cores up to 10cm deep.

To be used with user’s own cordless drill. Advice on use will be provided upon collection. 

Microscope

The microscope is used to observe and assess soil biological activity, including microorganisms such as fungi, bacteria, and nematodes, to support evaluation of soil structure and overall health. 

To be used at GeoCatch Office.

Forage Corer

A forage corer is a tool used to extract samples from hay or silage bales for nutritional analysis at a chosen laboratory.

To be used with user’s own cordless drill. Advice on use will be provided upon collection. 

Pottipukis

Pottipuki planting tool used for quick and easy manual planting of seedlings, in restoration projects. 

It can create a hole and insert a seedling in one motion.

Planting Augers

Planting augers are available in various sizes, used for creating uniform holes in soil for planting projects.

To be used with user’s own cordless drill. Advice on use will be provided upon collection. 

Planting Kidney Buckets

These buckets are designed to hold water and seedlings during planting, making them easier to transport.

Fox Trap

Cage traps can be used to capture problem foxes in rural and semi-rural areas.
